At Hispaniola Medical Charity, our missions are only as effective as the resources we have. While financial contributions are vital, the donation of medical supplies, equipment, and instruments is equally critical to our ability to provide high-quality care to the impoverished communities of Hispaniola.
Many clinics and hospitals in the region operate with severely limited resources, often lacking even the most basic necessities. Your donated supplies directly fill this gap.

We constantly seek a wide range of medical, surgical, and dental supplies, whether new or gently used and in excellent working condition. Here's a general list of items that are always in high demand:
General Medical Supplies: bandages, gauze, medical tape, sterile gloves, examination gloves, syringes, needles, catheters, IV fluids and administration sets, stethoscopes, blood pressure cuffs, thermometers, antiseptic wipes, rubbing alcohol, hydrogen peroxide.
Medications: Over-the-counter medications (ibuprofen, acetaminophen, allergy medication, antacids), prescription medications (especially antibiotics, antifungals, antivirals – please ensure they are unexpired and in their original packaging).
Surgical Instruments: scalpels, forceps, clamps, retractors, sutures, surgical drapes, sterile gowns.
Dental Supplies: toothbrushes, toothpaste, dental floss, local anesthetics, dental tools (extractors, mirrors, probes), filling materials.
Medical Equipment: Portable ultrasound machines, EKG machines, vital sign monitors, nebulizers, oxygen concentrators, wheelchairs, crutches, walkers, examination tables.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): N95 masks, surgical masks, face shields, isolation gowns.

Donating supplies is a straightforward process:
Review Our Needs: Check the list above for common items. For larger equipment or specialized items, we highly recommend contacting us first to ensure they align with our current mission needs and logistical capabilities.
Ensure Condition & Expiry: All donated items, especially medications, must be unexpired and in good, usable condition. We cannot accept opened, damaged, or expired items.
Package Securely: Please package items securely to prevent damage during transit. Labeling boxes clearly with their contents helps us immensely.
